The white clay of the Mino region is molded into a white base like drawing paper, and the occasional use of blotting
paint creates a design reminiscent of water and rain, giving it the gentle world of a picture book. Each piece has
its own unique story, which only handmade products can create. This art tile is a must-have for those who are
looking for a special decoration for store interiors and other special spaces.

The Story Behind “Ehon”

There are 12 different designs in the ‘Ehon’.
A designer shapes each image one by one, and each design is accompanied by an ‘onomatopoeia’.

It rained and then cleared up, and I also felt better when I cried, even though I was sad.

It’s a trivial story, but I found it interesting to shape words (onomatopoeia) that describe images back into forms,
as if to confirm the sensations.

Appropriate Location

‘Ehon’ is a packaged product that includes a set amount of tiles (approx. 0.5 ㎡).
The package comes in two types: ‘Fragment,’ which includes random tile fragments, and ‘Plain Pack,’ which does not
include fragments.
Each type is sold as a set based on the color of the patterned tiles.

*If all tiles are lined up with 3mm joints, it will be equivalent to about 0.5㎡
*Patterns are available in 5 colors (blue, green, red, yellow, brown) × 12 types each.
*All the tiles with patterns and scrap tiles are handmade, from molding to painting. Please enjoy the
handmade texture of these tiles as they contain distortions, size differences, and errors in patterns unique
to handmade products.
*Since the tiles are randomly shaped, it is not possible to line them up at equal intervals.
*Please be sure to line up the tiles temporarily before installation.
*The number of tiles, patterns, and colors included in the package are fixed. If you wish to purchase
additional tiles or use tiles not included in the package, please purchase them separately. Please note that
we do not sell the tiles in pieces separately.
*Please use adhesive for installation.
*Due to the fine irregularities on the surface, the jointing material tends to leave marks when wiped off.
Avoid using black jointing material.
*Adhesives, jointing materials, and other secondary materials are not included in the package.
